To navigate our blog the main page shows the latest 7 entries, and on the right hand side under Archives, the rest of the blogs are there in monthly order - newest to oldest. We also have a photo album link and video link which takes you into all our photos and videos taken so far. We have tried to keep these in Albums for each place we have been. So enjoy and please feel free to comment. Brendan, Di, Sophie and Finn
You may well ask... basically we had a bit of an ephiphany when our children were 3 and 6 years old! It was the middle of winter, raining, cold and several people we knew of had spent their entire life working hard to enjoy their retirement, then sadly when the time came they didnt have much time to enjoy it so we decided to "retire" now, spend some time growing up with our children, and worry about the rest of it when we got back home! We then spent a further 3 years looking for the "right" boat and saving and planning. We found Sunburn accidentally when in Port Douglas, Queensland, walked on board, fell in love and bought her, which of course also saved us the crossing of the dreaded Tasman!! Sunburn is a 40ft Boden South Seas steel ketch, launched in 1982, and has been built to go places!
