Farewell Indonesia

It is heartwrenching to say farewell to such a wonderful, amazing, beautiful, poverty stricken, incredibly friendly country.  Our memories of our time cruising this stunning archipelago will be with us forever.  Our one hope is that we will have the opportunity to return and cruise again through such a diverse country.

The people we have met throughout Indonesia are incredible.  The majority have very little, and in some cases absolutely nothing, BUT they do have the biggest smiles, amazing generosity and hospitality, and an incredible sense of contentedness...its has made me wonder on many an occasion as to who has got it right, us with everything and more or them with very little or nothing.  They definitely seem to lead a very simple, easy going, happy life.  

So, it is with a very very heavy heart Indonesia, that the crew of Sunburn bid you a farewell, and a huge thank you from the very bottom of our hearts for all you have done for us with all our trials and tribulations good old Sunburn has presented to us whilst cruising through some of the most magical places on earth!  Thank you.
